A coaching contract is typically 6 sessions of approximately 90-120 minutes. A chemistry meeting is offered to ascertain if the individual and coach believe there would be value in working together. A coaching action plan is completed to identify objectives and a 3 way meeting held with the Sponsor to ensure individual and business objectives are aligned. Third party feedback is encouraged throughout the coaching period to calibrate progress. Towards the end of the coaching period a review is held to summarise progress and next steps.
Group coaching/action learning
Team or group coaching is particularly useful for those who wish to adopt a coaching style to facilitate group discussions/meetings. The coach will help establish action learning groups, enabling these to be self sustaining longer term.
